What opened on June 3
Polar Tint Parker North opened its bay doors on Tuesday, June 3, 2026, at 10232 Progress Ln, at the south end of the Denver Metro. It is the first Polar Tint location outside Nevada, and the first time the network’s climate-engineered Front Range build has run live.
The shop is staffed by installers certified to the single nationwide Polar Tint install standard. Every install in Parker is covered by the same Lifetime Polar Tint Promise that backs work in Nevada.
Why Colorado, why Parker, why now
Parker, Colorado sits at about 6,000 feet of elevation, which means a meaningfully higher UV load than sea-level markets across the year. UV is the single biggest driver of automotive interior fade, dashboard cracking, and skin exposure inside the cabin — and the math gets harsher the higher you go. The same is true of homes in Parker, Castle Rock, and Stonegate, where south- and west-facing glass takes a measurable thermal beating from late spring through early fall.
Parker also sits at the entry to Colorado’s hail belt, with a long active hail season from May into August, and along the gravel-impact corridors of the southern Front Range. That combination — high UV plus hail plus gravel — is the exact use case the Polar Tint film, paint protection film, and ceramic coating stack is built for. Two questions come up more than any others, because they map cleanly to what Front Range buyers actually care about:
- “What’s the legal limit in Colorado?” — Colorado caps front side windows and rear side windows at 27% VLT, allows any darkness only on the rear (back) window, and limits windshields to the AS-1 strip across the top. What’s next for the Colorado rollout
