Lifetime Warranty · Transferable · Nationwide

The Polar Tint Promise.

Four locked commitments on every Polar Tint install. Not slogans — specific, written promises a customer can hold any location in the network accountable to.

The Four Pillars

What every Polar Tint install includes.

1

Lifetime Polar Tint Promise

Film and install both covered for the life of the vehicle, home, or property. Transferable on resale. Honored at every Polar Tint location nationwide.

Lifetime Nationwide warranty
2

Certified Installer Network

Every Polar Tint location is staffed by certified, manufacturer-trained installers running the same playbook. The same product line. The same standards. No off-the-street technicians, anywhere in the country.

100% Certified installers
3

Climate-Engineered Grades

Different climates need different films. Our grade lineup is engineered by climate — the wizard recommends a grade by where you live, not what’s on the shelf.

98% IR heat rejection on hot-climate grade

Polar Tint Match Guarantee

Bring a written quote from any licensed local shop for the same film and same coverage. We match it. The Polar Tint Promise still applies on top.

Matched Premium for equal coverage
Pillar One

Lifetime Polar Tint Promise.

What “lifetime” actually means at Polar Tint — and what makes ours different from the industry default.

For the life of the vehicle, home, or property — not a 5-year asterisked “limited” warranty. Most film installers offer a manufacturer warranty (typically 5 or 10 years) and stop there. The Polar Tint Promise covers the film AND the install AND the adhesive for the entire useful life of the underlying property.

Transferable on resale. If you sell your car, home, or building, the warranty passes to the next owner with no paperwork fee. This is rare in the category — most shop warranties terminate when ownership changes. We don’t.

Honored at any Polar Tint nationwide. Move from Henderson to Denver? Your warranty is fully serviceable at Parker North. Sell your Tampa house to a buyer in Phoenix? The new owner can use the nearest Polar Tint. National network, national warranty.

What’s covered: fading, bubbling, peeling, delamination, color change (including the “purpling” that happens to dyed films within 3–5 years), and install defects. Damage from external impact or chemical exposure outside normal use isn’t covered — that’s a damage event, not a warranty issue.

Pillar Two

Certified Installer Network.

The same playbook. The same training. The same product line. At every Polar Tint location in the country.

Every Polar Tint location is staffed by certified, manufacturer-trained installers working from the same install playbook. Same surface prep, same computer-cut patterns, same dust-controlled bays, same post-install QA checklist. The shop in Henderson and the shop in Parker are running the identical process. That’s what makes the Lifetime Polar Tint Promise honorable nationwide — the install that gets warrantied has to be a known quantity.

What the certified-installer standard means in practice:

  • No off-the-street technicians. Every Polar Tint installer is trained against the same curriculum and certified before working on a customer vehicle, home, or storefront.
  • Booking transparency. Your local Polar Tint provides an exact time estimate at booking based on your specific vehicle, home, or property — not a marketing number that may not apply to your job.
  • No overnight keeps on routine installs. Standard automotive tint, ceramic, and most PPF jobs come back to you the same business day. Multi-day projects (Full Vehicle PPF, whole-home residential, large commercial) get a realistic timeline at quote.
  • Network portability. Move across the country, and your warranty work happens at the same standard at a different Polar Tint location.

The underweighted pillar. Local shops can’t honor warranty work when you move — the next shop doesn’t know how the first one installed it. Every Polar Tint runs the same playbook. Different shop, same install.

Pillar Three

Climate-Engineered Grades.

Same product family. Three grades. The right one depends on where you live.

Polar Tint’s window film line is engineered by climate. The same is true for our ceramic coating tiers, our PPF coverage levels, and our residential film categories. The Polar Tint Promise says we recommend the grade that fits your climate, not the grade we have most of in stock.

Specifically, the automotive window film line has three grades — Ceramic Ultimate Plus (hot climate), 70% VLT (UV-first, near-factory look), Ceramic Plus (Better) (privacy-first), and Premium Ceramic (Good) (looks-first, value tier). Our 60-second wizard recommends one based on climate + priority. Your local Polar Tint can override the wizard if your specific situation suggests a different grade — that judgment is what trained installers exist for.

The top-tier Ceramic Ultimate Plus delivers up to 98% infrared heat rejection. The 70% VLT delivers 99% UV blocking. The product line is built so the trade-offs are explicit, not hidden.

Pillar Four

Polar Tint Match Guarantee.

If a licensed competitor will do the same coverage cheaper, we match it.

Pricing is set at the local Polar Tint based on vehicle/property size, complexity, and the grade selected. We publish the lineup, not the price — final pricing happens at quote. If you bring us a written quote from any licensed competitor for the same film and the same coverage, we will match it. The Polar Tint Promise (Pillar One) still applies on top.

The match is on apples-to-apples specifications: same film grade, same coverage area, same vehicle. We won’t match a competitor’s lower-tier film against our premium ceramic — that’s not the same product. But we’ll match premium-to-premium any day of the week.

Why we offer it: the Polar Tint Promise costs more to deliver than the industry default. We want price-shoppers to come in anyway — once they see the install standard and the warranty paperwork, the comparison usually clarifies itself.

Common Questions

About the warranty.

What exactly does “lifetime” mean?
Life of the vehicle, home, or property — the underlying asset the film is installed on. Most film manufacturers offer a limited 5- or 10-year warranty; the Polar Tint Promise extends past that for the full useful life of the asset. If your vehicle is on the road, your warranty is active.
Is the warranty transferable?
Yes. The Polar Tint Promise transfers to the next owner with no paperwork fee. We document the install in our system so the next owner can confirm warranty status at any Polar Tint location. This makes a Polar Tint install resale-positive — an asset, not a depreciating sticker.
Does the warranty work at any Polar Tint location?
Yes — the Polar Tint Promise is honored at every Polar Tint location nationwide. Get your car tinted in Henderson, NV, move to Parker, CO, file a warranty claim there. The network coordinates internally.
What’s NOT covered?
Physical impact damage (rocks, vandalism, collisions), chemical exposure outside normal use, and anything caused by improper aftercare specifically documented in the post-install instructions. Normal wear, fading, bubbling, peeling, delamination, and color shift are all covered.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Walk into any Polar Tint location with the vehicle, home address, or property documentation. We pull your install record and assess. Most warranty repairs happen same-day. No waiting for a corporate decision — the local manager is empowered to honor the Polar Tint Promise.
Does the Polar Tint Match Guarantee work on PPF and ceramic coating too?
Yes — it applies across all six service categories (automotive window film, residential film, commercial film, PPF, ceramic coating, and decals/wraps). Same rules: written quote from a licensed competitor, same product and coverage spec, and we match.
