When brand DOES matter
There are specific scenarios where brand choice matters more:
- Bumper-edge wrap technique: SunTek Reaction's adhesive is slightly tackier, making wrap-around-bumper-edge installs easier on certain vehicle profiles.
- Satin finishes: XPEL Stealth is the most widely-used satin PPF; widest installer training base.
- Matched ceramic compatibility: not all ceramic coatings bond to all PPF top coats equally. It’s worth confirming that the coating you choose is compatible with the PPF top coat being installed.
