Hawaii allows 35% VLT on the front side windows, no darkness limit on the back side and rear windows of sedans, vans, minivans and trucks when the vehicle has outside mirrors on both sides, and a non-reflective tint strip above the AS-1 line on the windshield, or the top 4 inches if there's no AS-1 line.
